POINTERS
Lance type pointers are standard on all G, GL, and GL/B Series
Panel instruments.  Spade pointers are standard on all Phenolic
Series panel instruments.

INSTRUMENTS
DC instruments are the d'Arsonval type with linear scales, extra light
moving coil, rugged construction, Bar-Ring Magnet and one piece
diecast frames. AC instruments are either the moving iron vane type
with viscous dampenting and light moving  parts or the rectifier type.

Two methods of supporting the coil for rotation are employed. One
method is the taut band system while the other is the pivot and jewel.
In all taut band movements, the coil is suspended on ligament bands.
All pivot and jewel movements have selected spring back jewel
bearings with highly polished and specially treated pivots.

White enameled metal dials, molded zero adjusters and ceramic
pointer stops are standard.

DC AMMETER SHUNTS
DC Ammeters aabove 50 Amperes require a basic 0-50 DC Millivolt
Instrument with an external DC Ammeter Shunt.  The instrument dial
reads in DC Amperes and ranges shown on page 5 are standard.

AC CURRENT TRANSFORMER
AC Ammeters above 50 amperes require a basic 0-5 Ampere
Instrument with an external AC Current Transformer

HIGH VOLTAGE MULTIPLIER BOXES
External High Voltage Multiplier Boxes are required for 1½" and 2½"
DC Voltmeters 500V and up, 3½ "DC Voltmeters 750V and up,
4½" DC Voltmeters 1000V and up.  All AC Voltmeters 500V and up
also require Multiplier Boxes.  All DC Voltmeters with Multiplier
Boxes are 2000 Ohms per volt. The AC Voltmeters are 125 Ohms
per Volt.  Ranges shown on page 5 are standard.
