Simpson Electric Digital Model S660 Preset/Totalizer Counter

Mounting: This S660 counter requires a DIN panel cutout of 1.77" (45mm) high by 3.62 (92mm) wide. Engineering Label Placement: To change the label, place the tip of a ball point pen into the small depression at the botom of the label and slide it up and out of the bezel. Insert the new label into the bezel, then use the pen point to slide it down in place.	Application Flexibility- Five different counter modules that offer more count modes - the S660 Preset Totalizer, the S661 Preset Rate, the S662 Preset Batch/Dual, the S663 Preset Rate/Totalizer and the S664 Frequency Easier to Configure- menu driven from the front panel; the menu uses words, not symbols or codes. The S660 Counter family has been designed to hamdle a broad range of your roughest industrial applications. Their modular design enables you to uprade the counter quickly and easily with single or dual outputs and/or 12 VDC excitation. Eadh model fits a 1/8 DIN cutout and is perfedt for tight spaces, extending only 3.24 inches (82 mm) behind the panel. Four frequency measurement ranges (99.99 Hz, 999.9 Hz, 9.999 Hz, 35 Hz, for higher accuracy across the frequency input. The counter is powered from 120 or 240 VAC and has a non-volatile EEPROM to retain all programming and count information when the power source is removed or interrupted.
S660 Preset Totalizer	The S660 isa versaltile totalizing counter that can be adapted to a wide variety of counting, measuring and controlling applications. The selection of control inputs offers several counter operation modes; count/direction, add/add, add/subtract, quadrature, and reverse quadrature. Optional relay outputs ennhance the counter from a passive device to an integral control element for your application
S661 Preset Rate	This counter is typically used in applications involving speed and is capable of counting in four different time modes; hours, minutes, seconds, and seconds/thousand (msec). The msec rate mode increases the frequency resolution to .001 Hz within the range from 1 to 999.999 Hz. Some examples are feet per minute (FPM), revolutions per minute (RPM), revolutions or pulses per secont (RPS or Hz) and gallons per minute (GMP).
S662 Preset Batch/Dual	The S662 is a multi-function counter that can be easily configured to operate in either a dual mode or in a totalizing/batch mode. In both modes, each display has separate scaling and reset functions. When programmed to functions in the dual mode, full direction is maintained for the totalizing and batch counts. In the totalizing/batch mode, the secondary value (batch count) is incremented only after the primary count has completeed its sycle.
S663 Preset Rate/Totalizer	This model S663 is a multi-function counter that allows the end user to track the rate (speed) of a product and contiuously monitor the product quantity for a given process. The count rate displays have separate programmable decimal point settings an scaling values. Th S663 supports two independent output channels with four modes of operation; disabled, timed, latched, and boundary. Both channels can be reset simultaneously or independ- ently of each other.
S664 Frequency	This counter offers a wide input frequency range from 1Hz to 35 Hz and four display ranges of 99.99Hz, 999.9Hz, 9.999Hz and 35 Hz. The easiest to use counter in the S660 series, the S664 offers 12VDC, 100mA sensor excitation and requires no programming to use. After the counter is mounted and wired, selecting the appropiate frequency range is the only setup required to the counter.
