The type HA has an insulating base and can be mounted on conductive surfaces. Available in ranges of 0.5 amp through 600 amps with a 50 mV output and 1 amp through 600 amps with a 100 mV output, the HA is designed for power cable hook-up utilizing the 3/8-16 screws. Due to fragile nature of the resistance element the lower amperage shunts come with a protective cover. This popular design is available without the insulating base if desired.
