Brighton Electronics new AccuCon™ 7000 Series microprocessor based universal input temperature and process controllers offer versatility and accuracy at an affordable price for discriminating users. The AccuCon™ 7400, AccuCon™ 7500, AccuCon™ 7600 all feature fuzzy logic, PID with auto tune, universal input, universal output, transmission output, and optional RS485 communications. All features are selectable from the front keypad.

User selects various temperature inputs including thermocouple type K, J, E, N, C, T, R, S,  B and 100 ohm JIS/DIN RTD Sensors.  The read out can be programmed to display in either Celsius or Fahrenheit.  The AccuCon™  7000 series all have a loop break alarm for open sensors. Thermocouple input accuracy is  ± 0.3% of FS + 1 digit or 3°C and RTD accuracy is  ± 0.2% of FS + 1 digit.  Process inputs are 1~5 volts. and 4~20mA with fully programmable display to engineering units.  Accuracy is ± 0.2% of FS + 1 digit.

The AccuCon™  7000 series all have dual displays for easy readout of process variables (PV) and the set value (SV).  Three control output modes can be selected including relay (250V  2A), 4~20ma (reversible) and SSR (20V DC @ 21mA).  Control modes include PID, PI, PD, P, and On-Off each with direct/ reverse mode heating/cooling. Other available modes include programmable scale 4~20mA retransmission output , alarm output(250V 1A), and ten segment program control.  Optional RS485 communication  using MODBUS protocol is also available on the AccuCon™ 7400 and AccuCon™ 7600.

Easy to program and use with available 1/4, 1/8, and 1/16 DIN sizes and with shallow 11mm (4.37 inch) depth, these controllers are easy to install and fit into tight locations.
